The Seven Saints collection was created for the spiritual seeker and born from a desire to blend fashion with meaning, beautiful design with a sense of purpose.
Launched in 2016 in Los Angeles by jewelry designer, holistic healer, photographer and mother of two, Kaliah Shil'Ee, Seven Saints jewelry and aromatherapy is dedicated to bringing the spirit of the divine into our everyday lives.
Kaliah was born and raised in New Zealand. From the age of 5, she would take annual trips back to her parents’ home country, Malaysia. It was here that the richness of interfaith communities coexisting relatively harmoniously (more so than in other parts of the world) in one country, made an indelible mark on her psyche.
On the family journeys, she vividly recalls being regularly awoken at 4am to the hypnotic sounds of chanting over loudspeaker coming from the Hindu temple, then not more than an hour later hearing the devotional chants emanating from the Muslim mosque. She would explore the cities with her family visiting Buddhist temples, Taoist temples, paying homage to her ancestors past, and then also witness the familiar Christian churches thrown into the mix.
Kaliah was called to yoga practice and meditation at an early age. She spent the first part of her life wearing many hats and going down the road of the "expected". She moved on her own to England and trained and interned as a multi-media journalist, and it was during her time living in the UK that she experienced a huge kundalini awakening, and was led down a different path to discover her truest self.
For many years thereon, she immersed herself in the spiritual healing, meditation and yoga worlds, and traveled the world widely. She practiced as a certified Angel Intuitive Practitioner, holistic bodyworker, Reiki Master. Her interest in the decorative arts and design grew through her travels through Europe, the Middle East, East Asia and India, and she eventually found her way to train as a jewelry designer at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles.
Meditation, spirituality, and mindfulness practice have helped her through the many and inevitable ups and downs of life, and she was inspired to create a jewelry collection that blended her love for both the sacred arts and design.
Her intention is that Seven Saints jewelry and aromatherapy will inspire and support people through their own twists and turns on their journey, and remind them of their constant connection to spirit and a source greater than themselves.
To date, Seven Saints has appeared in the likes of British Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Glamour, Red, GQ, Brides, Vanity Fair and Conde Nast Traveller, and has been seen on the red carpet.
With a desire for a deepened commitment to responsible and conscious stewardship of our precious Earth, Seven Saints uses 100% recycled sterling silver and gold in their manufacturing processes, in addition to recycled and recyclable packaging, and the brand carbon offsets every order on behalf of their customers.
